I am going to attempt snowboarding in a month. I was a pretty good skateboarder but have never tried snow. Am I going to be a slope hazard?

Stay on the green runs and you will be fine. Are you taking lessons or someone teaching you?

What year's your Forum and how's it holding up?
The first and only Forum I've ridden was the Peter Line pro-model (with the photo of Jamie Lynn on the topsheet) their first year; so back in like '97 or so. It may have been because it was a pre-season board; but that thing was a piece. I snapped it the first day out.
Although once Elan started producing their boards I imagine it got better; and now with Burton as owners, I'm sure the quality's there.

Without knowing everyone's height/weight, and most important, ability; it's tough to tell if their boards are too small. What size do you rock?
The board in my pic was my all purpose stick that season. Think it was a 156.

 I miss riding

Ooopss. Sorry bro. 275 on Weekdays and 375 on Weekends. Figure the cost split between 5-10 people n its a good deal. Usually get 450-500 night for other people. Going to Bear this weekend for New Years. Anyone gonna be up there?
