It 'worked'today, but I thought to hear an unwillingness in Hammy's voice, which is only logical. I expect that to just increase as the season gets on and stakes in the WDC get higher.
You also heard it last year in Oscar's voice...
Every driver's biggest competitor is his teammate at some point. And the closer they are and the later in the season, the more important it gets to defend your own interests. No driver benefits from a teammate in a higher position in the WDC.
I mean....if the Ferrari's werent DQ'ed, what did the fact that Hammy letting Charles pass bring in the end?
Nothing. It would've just cause Hammy to loose points in favour of Charles (not regarding putting Hammy on a 2 stop). Why would Hammy agree with that?
LEC being faster was a very limited moment in the race, he never came close to RUS (which was the speculation) and switching postions back...it never came to that but they could've done that just before the finish.
I have no beef with ferrari (or HAM for that matter!

) but if I was HAM, I would have mixed feelings.
I would've raced LEC under 'papaya rules'
