Thanks for the advice, esp. the DVD stuff. I have heard stuff similar to what you're saying, but it didnt make much sense to me. Can you explain what the upconverting is and does, and what sort of spec do i need to look for in my t.v.? I have heard about 720, 1080, EDTV, HDTV, true HDTV, i dont' know what any of this means... basically just tell me what to look for to get the best for my buck.
