All reviews state that the G37 and 335 are about equal in the Slalom. The 335 Edges out the 37 in a straight line. I test drove the G7 and I love the interior. The overall feel of the leather and materials aren't as good as BMW's but it's not as dramatic as they bimmer snobs make it out to be. Feedback will always be BMW's strong suite. The G (both 35 and 37) feels heavier than the BMW, but they are FAST cars nevertheless. The exhaust note, one of the best imo. Gas mileage will definitely suck in comparison. the VQ engines aren't known for their great mileage though.

My partner drives an E92 X-drive 328 and I drive an E89 Z4 3.0. I think you should have gone for that Z4 and just gotten a set of winter wheels/tires.
Whenever I visit family in SF and Hertz can't pit me in a Volvo hardtop convertible, I go for the G37. It's the sedan, but from my experiences it it, I am always glad to drive BMWs. I used to drive a RWD E92 myself, and everyone's right, its power is no match for G37, but man, the suspension and handling is miles ahead. And the Infiniti's interior was trying so hard to be upscale but was cheap and fussy. It's too late for you now unless one of the G fanboys want to assume your lease. (A dealer near me has 9 2011 Z4s left.) Don't mean to be a wet blanket though. Be glad it's a lease--I know that's why I like 2-3 year leases. |

I for one have gone up the Nissan car chain and tested/owned just about every top car they have produced. Same can be said with Honda. Although I am an owner of a Honda my Z4M is superior to my M3 and NSX (stock for stock). Lamborghini Gallardo or Audi R8 is next up for me.

For 365/month, you won't really find a better car that looks nice, is sporty, etc. What can you get from BMW for 365/month with no down? NOTHING. Wait... did you lease it for 365/month? That deal sounds too good to be true. On their website it's almost 400/month + 2500 down.

OP said he traded in E90 for it. Did he get anything for it? Maybe zero down includes some trade-in credit?
$365/month does sound good, but I recently got my Z4 for under $500/month, $2000 at signing from my trade-in, nothing out of pocket. |
