Infiniti seats suck

Infiniti seats suck and are uncomfortable. There, I said it.

I didn't find the G37's seats as comfortable as the 335i's, but the thigh support is better (though I'd rather have better lumbar support and get rid of the G's thigh shit altogether...got a little uncomfortable).

The new M37/56 supposed has awesome seats.

I dunno about Infiniti seats, but my sports seats kill my lower back. I had to get a tempurpedic pillow to make long drives bearable.

You might need to learn how to use the lumbar adjustment properly, and I'm not trying to sound condescending. I used to get LBP from my seats until I learned how to use that air bladder properly.

You could ride standing up if they have sunroof or convertable.

Nope. Just ride as a passenger in two G35x's on a regular basis. They are stiff and don't seem to make any effort to contour to the body. I thank God for my 1er's seats after that and honestly I was never someone who really paid much attention to these things. Can't believe cars that cost this much money make you hurt when you sit in them.

Most BMW i've own or sat in have really supportive seat for spirited driving, long distance is another story though. I am pretty young and they still make me tired. A lot of German cars have really stiff seats in my opinion.

That said, most Acura, Infiniti and Lexus seat feel more supple and comfy to me. Maybe less sport orientated. Also may have to do with the fact that Japanese manufacturer design with asian stature in mind most of the time.

I'm guessing it's like racing helmets...what some people think is comfortable...others can stand. We all have different bodies and body compositions so it makes sense that we feel differently about comfort.

On my older G35 coupe, the seats were great to me, not as nice as the modern BMW's but I never had any issues with them, and they were definitely more comfortable long term (road trips) compared to the seats in my E46 and my current E86.

The problem with most Japanese vehicles is that the bottom seat cushion is to short. No thigh support at all.
