UPDATE
So I ended up with a new A3 TDI. It's pretty sharp, very smooth on the road, and has a solid build/interior as Audi typically do. Just picked it up tonight, so I'm anxious to follow the MPG. I needed something quick, so grabbed one from a local lot - it didn't have sport package, but the all-seasons are probably more useful, given its a DD. Thanks for the advice.

Congrats! Why the A3 TDI and not a Golf TDI?
Audi A3's are pretty rare around here - I have actually never seen a A3 TDI before, only 2.0T's. VW TDIs are EVERYWHERE though...basically 8/10 VW's are TDIs. Anyways, got pics of your new DD? |

I'm actually looking for a 2006 Civic Sedan with 5MT. Gas saver (87 octane!) & reliable.

Get a Honda Civic. I've got a Honda Civic SI from 2002 and it has 90000 miles on it. No problems at all.

Thanks. So far so good. Averaging about 45mpg on my daily commute. I ended up getting the Audi over VW for the little things, I suppose. Little things here and there just felt nicer. They are rarer, yes, which is nice. Also, I've had a bad experience with VW in the past (the infamous VW "gremlins"). I'll try to snap some pics soon.
