Apart from that C-pillar and wheels, I really like the XJ. I think its one of the best luxury saloons out today. I'd def take it over the 7 series/S class/A8. Interior is epic.

Also, are there any plans for the XJ-R? prob not since they have the 500bhp supersport model.

i agree it's not looking dull as many luxoboat on the market, give it round headlights and it'll look like a smaller Bentley from the front.

I have liked the new XJ since day one. It stands out from the crowd.

This interior is like traveling in a private jet on the road. Who needs a Maybach?

Love the interior. C-Pillar and headlights aren't doing it for me though. Would still be happy to own one however.

People who want legroom. There is no legroom at all in the XJ, even the XJ-L has barley any legroom in the rear.

I simply love the XJ, like any other modern Jaguar, the XJ got presence. Brilliant design and great piece of engineering. But still to me, i think there´s something missing. Perhaps a bit of madness. I feel it is too perfect. But still a brilliant Jag.

Completely false! My Mom drives a XJ-L Supersport and the legroom is immeasurable compared to most sedans out there...

I believe this car was made for the china market...

In China, they like to ride in the back and not driving it... and for those who can afford a car there, Jaguar or Maybach, they can probably buy both

750Li & S550 have way more legroom in the rear. And if you compare the legroom of the Maybach, Game over.

You must have a different ruler than the folks at Edmunds, who claim the S550 has 42.3", the XJ-L has 44.1" and the 750LI has 44.3". The Maybach 57 has 40.3" and the 62 is the only one you got right, which does have a rather comical 57.2" of rear seat legroom, which the RR EWB can't even touch with 53.5".

Yeah it ends the discussion because you ask who needs a Maybach? People who are rich enough to not give a shit and get the 62 which will can fully recline.
