E63 S-AMG

Recently we went to the Mercedes-Benz dealer to check out the new e-class Mercedes that my dad was and is interested in buying, we'll all of a sudden we almost walked out with a 2015 e63 s-AMG. This car was amazing and well rounded and loved it to be honest well worth the extra 15k (83,599) for the AMG. What are your guys thoughts on Mercedes new design.

A good friend of mine just bought one. One amazing car. Why didn't your dad scoop one? Did he not like it?

My friend just got this... He put a Renntech tune, I believe down pipes, exhaust and HRE's. I haven't gone for a ride with him yet, but he was and still is a huge BMW fan, but was pissed when his last car a Dinan tuned 550 was a lemon, lol. Hence the switch

E63-S wagons are the ultimate manly car. If I was looking for a primary car in the 100k range I wouldn't think twice. M5 is a good option but only available as a sedan and I wouldn't be able to turn down a wagon.

The only difference, negligible at best, is the fuel consumption and top speed being better on sedans due to their better aerodynamics. Lol better than hatches and wagons.

Which you save ten fold because you can actually carry stuff instead of having everything delivered.

No he loved it, but him and my mom are building a new house so he wanted to wait a little till the house starts then pick it up. I was surprised they only priced it at 83k when the cheapest one that I've seen was 120k online.

had a chance to drive the E63S before and it's got loads of power. I find the wagon version to be the most spacious without having to go for an SUV size of a car.

That or a HSV Ute. I'd buy a V8 Ute, either GM or M3 (yes that prank car), any day.

The E63's are pretty awesome cars. 3.3s to 60 for the wagon version.

Balls.. The DCT in the M5 is far superior and the M5 is a better drivers car IMO.. As for these claimed 0-60 numbers..well..I dunno. Down a runway strip maybe but that handling...not so much..
