If you are buying new. it's not a good idea to buy the last year model of the old platform or you will get rape by the rapid depreciation. I'd wait for the new A4 coming out next year or just get a bimmer

If you can wait for the B8 platform, do so. The engine will be moved back farther, and the handling/balance will improve.

If you can't wait, the B7 is still a great looking car. The only reason I didn't get one was the seats. If they had offered sportier seats in the A4, I'd be driving that right now. Definitely get the S-line, and the Titanium package if you can.

As for interior, I like the A4's much more then the 3er's.

The new A4 (B8) looks really nice also.................I like the new look...............I would definitely wait and buy the B8 over the B7 no matter what the dealer discounts are.............

Audi's plans of domination actually seem somewhat plausible now.

well their actually more power oriented, whereas BMW has a stronger hold. i noticed this when they compared the current 335i with the 06 S4, and the s4 had more hp (?) but the bmw still won in the track because of its handling. i know the race isnt really a fair comparison, but both cars are good representatives of the companies core qualities.
