my other more "track specific" car...

i know us F8x owners are not paupers.

but i couldn't justify/afford another high-end "track" car. (aka 911, M3-of any generation, etc.)

but in the interest of not putting such heavy wear-tear on my F80, and something more "analog" to learn on. i present to you guys....

my hoopty!

1985.5 Porsche (wooo...ahhhh...)

944 (sorry, i am PO')
2.5L NA engine. hydraulic steering. deleted the torsion bar and sitting on coilovers.

Practice with that thing for a few hundred hours and people will bow down to you in the M3.

I can relate! My track car is a 94 Corrado VR6,with a corner balanced coilover suspension, big fat RSB, front wilwood brakes, peloquins LSD, a blower, and others odds and ends.

It's definitely not the fastest car on the track, but it's damn fun.

I see nothing wrong with that at all. Good choice.
