Not saying the 170mph number isn't insane but there is more to a trap speed besides HP.

Tires/traction/transmission can produce a pretty big gap in trap speeds for cars running the same times.

8.9 @ 164 .. 3500 pounds, and I don't think the GT will launch nearly as hard as this Supra. Not sure what the HP is tho. Supra would have trapped a lot higher on street tires.

I guess we'll see once reviews start coming out.

No doubt it will be an awesome car and Ford will sell all of the 250 units they make each year.

But I can't help that their 'flagship' vehicle doesn't sound as exciting compared to the exhaust of a Mustang GT350

I like the car and its looks.
But the V6 twinturbo in this is probably a good engine but i feel that they should put a V8 twinturbo in it instead fits the character of the car better.

I hope there's a version of the FPC from the GT350 offered at some point. Seems like a hugely better fit.
