2009 Audi A4 engine change????

According to Cars.com, they say that the 2009 Audi A4 will have the 3.2 V6 now with 265HP, but the BIG news is that they will take the 2.0T out and replace it with the old 1.8T. Both will be avaliable in quattro AWD or Frontrak FWD.

also the 1.8T will have a CVT instead of the 6 Speed Auto.

I really dont want this to happen as i was looking to test drive one as soon as it comes out and possibly buy it lol, i test drove the 07 one with a 2.0T and i thought that power was OK, now that they take away 40 hp with the 2.0 -1.8T i dont know anymore....still its a great car!!!

it says that it will have the 2.0T and have 200HP and now 221 lb of torque.

i also like how it is bigger, as my only real big problem with the 07 one was that the rear was too small and there were no AC vents. plus the interior looks great!!!

I wouldn't be surprised if the 2.0T is making 230 hp in the new A4. The 230 hp versions will be out in the VWs before long as well. Also, there's some chatter that the new twin turbo V6 will in fact NOT be the new S4, but the top range A4 engine and that the S4 might just make do with the same TT V6, but with more power.

According to what I have seen both online and Mags, the new S4 will get a 330Hp 6cyl Engine.
