Future Mustang may have Twin Turbo 6
Just read the latest issue of motortrend that Ford is considering their EcoBoost V6 for the mustang it would be a twin turbo 3.5-3.7 w/more horsepower than the current V8.
Looks like someone is taking heed. Sorry I couldn't find the web link to the article.

So long to that great V8 sound. American 6 cylinders all sound horrible.

+1, the saving grace for the Mustang has been that nice V8 rumble, can't corner for shit, but nice V8 sound and decent power.

A mustang without a V8!? Wow. That was the entire selling point.

Okay, the point of a muscle car is to be cheap and offer loads of V8 power. This just goes against the rulebook in an entirely bad way.
