Had a run in with a Carrera S

On the way home from the heat game last night and saw a Carrera S coming up on me fast. We started playing around going back and forth. We both hit a stop light and i knew it was on. I turned of DSC and got ready to go. We both take off and run up to about 90 or so. We both jumped off the line and he stayed right around the rear wheel area of my car until i shut down. I was expecting him to roll down his window but he just sped off. I guess he was pist lol

You're manual or auto? I tried keeping up with one a while back, he pulled a few cars on me. Mind you, at the time I had only been driving manual for a month.

do you have any mods?
Im wondering these porsche's dont have a ton of horses so why are they so fast? Lightweight?

I am manual...his car was manual also....I am running AA Xede catless downpipes and exhaust.

Well the standard carrera has 325bhp and S has 355...that seems like a good amount of power to me. They are also very light in comparison with the 3 series. Everything else that would make the car faster is also better engineered and porsche's have more weight in the back, allowing the rear wheels to push off better.

i ran an S a couple days ago from about 80 to 140 and i pulled nearly 4 cars on him and he jumped on the throttle before i did. I am auto he was manual non-vert.

Hmmm....there should be a story or kill story section over here.

I like to read these kind of kill stories.... it makes me imagine it. But I also sometimes despise B/S but hell...we can always use logic in our imagination to make it right.

I ran a 996 4S a while back (think it was an '01 or '02?) on the autobahn and had no trouble pulling away slowly...until I hit the speed limiter at 155.
