Corded my pzeros on my Mercedes gls580 replaced with PS4S

These tires wore out at 11k miles and I think the recommended pressures are part of the problem. Door jam calls for 41 front and 44 rear, accounting for a fully laden vehicle with 1600lbs of cargo and passengers. The gas cap has another pressure sticker that recommends 37 psi all around.

Given the shoulders has plenty of tread left and the centers corded, Im going to run at 37 for the next set and see how it goes.

Also, strange to see foam inside the oem tires. I suppose it's supposed to reduce noize?

The pzeros were also awful in the rain.

Yeah looks like they were over inflated. The foam is supposed to reduce vibration and road noise.

Can't believe you drove that mess until you did. That's certainly not safe.

What do you mean unsafe? Racing slicks have the most dry traction

The super secret rubber compound is hidden under the first layer of belts.

Not with this thing, hauling kids and lots of hot texas miles. Factory recommended pressure of 44psi likely killed them early.
