So i have this M550i that has done less than 2000 miles.
First time driving it at night and the laser lights (the extra bit that comes on at over 40mph) that should point straight and up

When it comes on the left one points down and left the right one points down and left but not as low as the left one.

It seems to detect oncoming cars and the lights dance around and create a corridor in the middle but the black out corridor is too wide and a bit to the left.
(i compared with my other car and hence i know these things)

Just so i know, can they individually tune the laser component or do i need to ask for a new unit?

The lights are calibrated fine when static, not sure about the dancing corridor.
These lights have low beam, high beam, and laser. Low and high beam and pointing where they should when static.
Laser doesn't come on when static so there is no static laser, only comes on above 40mph.

Oh also, the cornering lamp never comes on, I cannot make the cornering lamp come on and have never seen it come on.

Have you got them set to auto? And pressed the button on the indicator switch to turn them on? Sounds daft, but you need to select those to make it work.

both auto and fixed it's pointing down and left, in the same exact position

and never see either of the cornering lamp when signalling, turning, parked

Sounds like a trip to the dealer then I guess.

it's at my bach still haven't got it to the shop yet .. on the to do list. will call the foreman on Monday i think
