Definitely agree you will be paying MSRP for the new X3 and it could be that way for a while. Personally, I don't love the interior look (at least online) but really need to see it in person and drive it before I make a decision.
That said, my initial reaction is that I might just want to look at the G05/X5 or a G30/5 series when it's time to replace my 2019 X3. I ordered my 2019 X3 in late-2018 and reliability has been rock solid. My hope is I don't run into any major issues and can keep it running for several more years. I also really like the Range Rover Sport and Velar...but the reliability history/reputation scares the hell out of me.

In fact the insurance premiums here got so high on their cars, JLR had to launched its own insurance to try and retain customers. Even then, an “average” customer pays around £2k. |

Thanks for confirming...every time I get the itch to look, I just go read a Range Rover forum and pretty quickly come to my senses.

If/when you do negotiate, please do it at the time when you configure it and not at the time of delivery because they have the right to say no and now you’re out of a car.

Offtopic:I was cross shopping a X5 and a Velar, but the RR sales man made it so difficult to have a test drive and after reading RR forums I ditched the Velar option
