I am having hard time in figuring out what is the different in the driving assistance in the base model, with premium package and with DAP package.
Help!!!

This is the feature list of the assistance packages in Europe (may vary by market):

Basic Driving Assistance is only rear radar detectors:
– Lane Change Warning
– Reversing warning for traffic crossing behind you
– Safe Exit alerts you of cyclists and pedestrians on the side of your vehicle after you park your BMW
– Rear collision prevention

Driving Assistance Plus adds Front based assistance with camera and radar detector (works up to 110mph):
- Active Cruise control
- Active steering and lane keep assist
- Speed limit assist
- Front collision warning with braking

Driving assistance Pro includes all features of Basic and Plus and adds more options and extends the speed where it assists up to 130mph
- Indication of cyclists and pedestrians when turning
- active swerve assist and cross-traffic warning
- Traffic jam assist with active steering and breaking
- Traffic light recognition
- Stop and Yield sign recognition and warning
- Emergency stop in case of medical conditions rendering you unable to drive

Don't forget the Lane Change Assistant and Active Lane Change in the Pro package. That's one of the "wow" features that gets a lot of attention, even if (in my opinion) it's really not that useful in practice.

AFAIK BMW UK disable lane change assist on UK spec cars, so as the poster mentioned above, feature support does vary by market.

It’s kind of ironic that the graphic used in the UK option description is assisted lane changing.
