Nice spec.
I liked the Merino leather more than the Veganza, but that's personal preference. Did you see the wood grain center console in real live. I didn't like it because it looked misplaced as the only wood covered part in the car. Besides this you selected most options except the parking pro which I got because it was much cheaper in Germany and I thought it's a nice gimmick. Nothing you realy need. I didn't get the panoramic roof because I had one one my G01 and actually when it was hot or very cold the shade was closed. So I wouldn't miss the glass roof. |

The one I test drove didn't have the wood grain console but i was trying to improve the quality of interior as much as possible! I had one with the fabric dashboard which I actually liked and thought would try this but you have a point. How good is the parking pro? I heard state of art is Lexus for this type of technology. Its expensive tbh as well in the UK. |

Fwiw, this past weekend, while selecting our X3, my wife said she found the Veganza “a little greasy” to the touch. It might have been an issue with that one vehicle and I’m sure that most here will disagree with that, but every time I select something other than leather - we’ve had various BMW leathers, SensaTec and SensaFin - I’ve regretted it. Back to leather for us on our new X3 and anything we might purchase in the future.

Good point. When I first touched the Veganza I searched for associations - sticky came to my mind but greasy is also adequate. It isn't realy greasy or sticky but something is different to the touch compared to real leather. And other than the hard surface of the Vernasca the Merino is a nice soft touch.

Parking pro works really well, but it drives at extreme slow speed in my opinion. |

I’m not sure I’ve opened the link to your configuration properly but I have Driver Assitance Plus and I find that really helpful on our crowded roads.
I looked at the Pro version but that’s too near automated driving for me! |

The Driving Assistand Pro is only 150/year? That would be a bargain if you keep the car only for a few years compared to the 1275GBP when you purchase it.

This is for the Parking Assistand Professional!
But this is also a bargain compared to the 800GBP you need to pay if you order it from factory in the UK. But be carefull. It may be, that the prerequisite is different for the X3. In this case the Parking Assistand Pro might not be available for later activation on the X3. As long as you don't have your car, the options shown in the Connected Drive store are not filtered to the vehicle. What I was talking about is the Driving Assistand Pro, which is a 1275GBP option. Strange prices for options are so different. DA Pro is €2000,- in Germany, but the PA Pro is only €300,- in Germany. Last edited by Ravenous666; Today at 09:16 AM.. |
