Sport Mode or Personal Mode

I've had my 2025 X3 around 2 weeks now and I love it. My only minor complaint is the brakes in personal mode (due to the mild hybrid nature) are a bit grabby, especially the last few feet coming to a full stop. In sport mode, since, I assume, the mild hybrid is, for lack of a better word, turned off, the brakes are very smooth. The problem with sport is using more gas and, especially on my daily commute, I don't need that much power.

So I guess my question is, what mode does everyone generally drive in? What do you feel are the pros and cons of either? I am a new BMW owner (I did have one back in the late 90s lol) so its all foreign to me. Thanks for your help!

I only have a 30 so its probably different for the M50..

The brakes don't feel different to me in either mode. I got used to them. What was you previous car? I wonder if the grabbyness you're experiencing is because of the M brakes?

When I got my X5M it took me a while to get used to the M compound brakes in that. Going between the X3 and X5M I noticed the difference.

If you're concerned about MPG etc. I wonder I you go into the setting and change everything to less sportiness

Mine is a 30 as well. I can feel a difference in the brakes between sport and personal since the regenerative brakes are only used in personal mode but I like to drive personal mode better than sport, so who knows haha
