Going to Bermuda
in November. I wanted to try a different place that was more laid back. Have already done the lights out/all nighters in Aruba and Cancun... For anyone who has been to Bermuda: Some good recommendations of places to see there. Will be with the GF. Thanks

I went there when I was pretty small, maybe 8 or 9....it's a nice place. One of the more luxurious tropical destinations. IIRC there is a cave you can go to. I think that's about the only thing I remember, besides the hotel, LOL.

I liked bermuda but make sure you have receipts for what you buy because you will be taxed when you leave. If you try to under declare you will be fined. I stayed at the south hampton princess but you can try pink beach or maybe a newer better hotel. I went in the summer, not sure if winter is a good time. I doubt it since it's so close to NY but dunno

Thanks for the responses guys. Yea, I am staying at the Reefs. Which looks like a good place to stay. I am not expecting the weather to be in the 80's. It will be in the low 70's, which is fine compared to Boston, which will probably be 40! If anyone else has experience on what to see/where to go in Bermuda, greatly appreciated.

I have been to Bermuda a few times, but it has always been on a cruise ship so I can't really comment on hotels. I can say that it is a very laid back island without much nightlife, but you seem to already know that. It has some nice beaches with good snorkeling/scuba diving, but I would think that it might be too cold during the winter for the beach/ocean. Everytime I have been to Bermuda it was pretty much just to relax on the beach and enjoy the ocean as they don't have too much going on over there aside from the usual tourist stuff (shopping with arts/crafts crap or blown glass). I'm sure you will have a good time there though, I always did.

So we have a cave, receipts, beaches and "shopping with arts/crafts crap or blown glass." LOL. Anyone else on specifically what to see/do? I have already read books and researched on the internet. Looking for what activities or sights left a lasting impression.
