New Years Resolutions!
So, 1addicts did anyone make a good new years resolution that their gonna stick to it? Or have you already dropped it?! Plan on getting engaged? Gonna save that extra 100 a month to pay off your car quicker? Post what your goals and resolutions are.
My resolution is to drop another 40lbs. Was about 298lbs at my peak then dropped down to 240lbs. Gonna get beach ready at 200lbs. Roughly 5'11, but i'm working on it. Progress makes perfect. |

with 0.9 APR paying it off early does not make much sense to me but my car resolution is to take it to the Colorado mountains this summer and enjoy it. Minnesota is not a fun state to drive in...
I'm also working on finishing up some studies that I had on pending status for about 10 years... |

Get a 6-pack by summer.
Shouldn't be that difficult. I'm 5'8" @ 140 lbs and work out 6 days per week. The hardest part will be diet modification. Too much meat, too many carbs; need to eat more vegetables and fruit, and less of the former. The other difficult part will be more cardio...it's really boring, tedious, and I hate it.

I would have a little problem with that. I drink diet soda, and beer (I don't drink i'm not 21. ). As for fast food Subway and Togo's mostly if you want to call that fast food.

I drink once every 2 weeks if that. So, im good I guess. Might just stick to bacardi or potato vodka to save the belly.

I praise you! Tried to quit but lasted a whole 2 days!! teach me your ways oh wise one  My mom even offered to buy nicotine gum but decided against it. Probably a mistake.
My problems are after I eat or have a stressful situation. The norms of a smoker really.

one word... chantix my friend. Go to your doctor and get a prescription for it its great stuff. Works like a charm so far i am 4 weeks out and still havnt smoked and have another 8 weeks left of the prescription. The worst part for me is still when i wake up and have my morning coffee, and after a nice big meal all i want is a cigarette. My mom told me ( she smoked for 15 years) that even today she still has cravings so its a lifelong battle i guess. I wasn't smoking long maybe a year to a year in a half but still once your hooked your hooked.

will do some research on that!! thanks chewyjr15. Forgot about the morning coffee!! its also a killer! and ive also noticed that i start to crave when in traffic so I end up pulling over and having one next to the car! then waiting like 10mins for the smell to weaken a bit. Quick question about chantix! doesnt it make you feel nautious(spelling)?
Oh! and Mega, good luck with the 6 pack! finally got mine last year! Breakfast : porridge (mealie meal?) with honey! Lunch: 2 chicken breasts (skin less and grilled) + salad Dinner: similar to lunch, Also i took Muscle Grow extreme by muscle science 3 times a day! - between meals and after gym! I also used Animal M Stak which turned out to be a muscle builder of note! Try start off small with your eating habits tho, First off take smaller portions, then change to healthier food when you can! Its hard in the beginning! Had problems with dinner because my mom used to cook dinner and did fatty foods. Sorted that out quickly tho. Like i said in my other thread. Am now 6ft2 and 92kg's! not to sure about the convertion to lbs.
