Ride with the assumption that everyone out there is out to kill you (especially your stereotypical SUV/BMW/ricer/truck drivers). This guy clearly does not.

). The video had a bit of fish-eye quality to it and there was some fast-forwarding. Had a car nudged him, he would've been badly injured but speed and fear can't coexist.
I don't get why people are so worried about him. Bike vs anything = bike lose. If you're in your car, insurance will take car of you and you won't be harmed

Well.....as someone who grew up riding big cc bikes in London, it's not out of the ordinary to see this kind of behavior. In the UK and other European countries, you are allowed to split lanes and advance through traffic. It would be pretty pointless owning a bike in London or Paris or Rome and having to sit in traffic with all the plebs in their cars wouldn't it?

This dude's speed is a little extreme though. Slow it down a bit and remove the wheelies and you would see this every day in any non US city.

To illustrate this, here is a time lapse video of a buddy of mine driving from work to home. This is exactly how me and every other bike rider travels around London - and this is on a big Scooter!!

IMO the fact that you can't lane split except in California is a disincentive to own a motorcycle here in the US. Plus the wife won't let me
