Yeah it's probably a lot better. I just need something to dump sod, and plants into for the wife's garden projects.

Wouldn't it be just cheaper to pay someone to landscape for her or deliver to her if gardening is her thing?...lol.

Grats!

I was shooting the bull the other day with a guy that enjoys his. His nickname is "The Manster".

I am looking at doing this exact set up. Everything else is fine OEM for myself.

Getting the discount I want is not as easy as I thought. At least it's something so far.

I am fortunate that I have a family member that works at a dealership. I was able to oder on what Ford calls a "D" plan. Basically I got $6k off of MSRP. Roughly $1200 below dealer invoice. The only catch it I can't sell it for the first 12 months. Most of the Ford dealers closer to me wanted $5k over MSRP. Ridiculous.

Nice. I was pricing out a Mustang GT with an X plan and wondered what that D plan was.

Nice truck. Just don't overestimate what it is capable of like this guy did. Sorry for the blurry pic; I took it with my phone while driving by. The guy was ok. He just thought he would show off a bit, and it didn't quite work out that way.

The wait is killing me. Already have a pile of mods in the garage waiting on it's arrival. Still 6-8 weeks to go before I will get to lay hands on it. The plan is to go straight from the dealer to my garage so I can dismantle it and start the mods.

Whipple is working on a supercharger kit that will be sold through Ford parts departments. According to Whipple they have to underdrive the S/C in order to keep the motor in a safe range of 500whp. Beyond that and it needs forged rods and pistons. Stock they are dynoing about 340-350whp.

Love it! Sat in one at the MotorTrend AutoShow in Baltimore last year. Loved the looks and feel of the thing.
