I know this forum's always the pinnacle of bandwagoning, but do we all need to be reminded that the base/BEV/PHEV trim doesn't look anything like the M-Sport and M40i trims?

The average BMW enthusiast on this forum appears to be an M40i fan, not a base X3 fan. I won't be thrilled if this is how the base model looks but I'm certain that a healthy dose of Shadowline could save it, if it's real.

Different front bumper, different slat design on grille (even without the Shadowline on the M40i), etc.

The G80 is a massive success. You don’t think anyone bought it again that initially thought the grill was ugly? We both know you do not believe that. BMW retention is one of the highest in the world. It’s not rocket science. It takes time for people to get used to something. People don’t normally like big changes. It literally happens every time a new model comes out. People like yourself whine and cry, then 6 months or 1 year later enquire about it. You will be no different. You will say otherwise but I guarantee when you’re ready to buy an X3, if you are, the grill will not be the reason you don’t buy it, because they did an incredible job overall on the car, in every way. If it is the reason, a grill, lol you have issues my friend.
Have you considered a career in selling cars and then bashing your customers for their choices?

I don’t plan to read your jibberish posts with any attention span.

You are completely missing the point of being on a forum. Your disrespect and arrogance towards other members stinks.

Keep your opinion and ideas to yourself if you can’t have a healthy discussion without bashing everyone into the ground.

Clearly a BMW ix3 electric version of the BMW X3, ix3. There is no venting in the grill and front bottom diffuser.

How long until after the announcement should we be able to order one? I am NEW to BMW so please excuse the ignorance. What does the timeline process typically look like?

Allocations should be issued late June/early July, the order bank likely will be opened shortly after the reveal.

Would you expect an August/September delivery then? Or is it hard to say?

Rough idea with F95-inspired horizontal grill slats, and also without the iconic glow and the silver horns (sorry, rails)...

I can't say I am a fan of that grill. It took me a while to warm up to the Halo taillights and I still don't know how I feel about it. The grill with the diagonal lines makes me think of a pinstripe suite right around the armpits.

Interesting topic about BMW retention on the X3 I was reading a few posts up. All I've known is the X3 since 2007 and I've just about had every iteration of it since then. I feel like I keep coming back to the X3 because of the ride and not necessarily how it looks. That is, I've loved how it looked over the years right up until the G01 refresh. I still ended up getting it because of the ride that I've gotten used to and how much I love it, despite those taillights. I guess as long as the ride is the same, I will eventually "have" to warm up to this design as well.

That said, did I read that it's wider now? Shoot, is it going to fit through a single car garage door? LOL it's already tight.

This must be a bad joke.

Feels like some key figure in BMW responsible for design really hates the brand.

An average person will glance at the 3 vehicles in your post and conclude that they are the same car.
Only BMW fanboys, i mean enthusiasts, will see the difference.

That looks A LOT better.

Sadly my hopes are not high that they'll get it close to that. I just hope they don't jack it up as badly as the G80/2. I'm holding out for this car before leaving BMW for this round until they fix their $H!7.
