Needless to say, HP with RPN came out winning every time. This is my HP 41CV programmable calculator I bought in 1979. Yes, I still have it and use it. I don't remember the price. |

I went for a few FCC license exams a few years ago, and the test rules allowed for a basic (non-scientific) calculator or a slide rule. The three-person panel proctoring the test had a combined age older than the USA, and actually had to go verify the test rules because nobody showed up with a slide rule in years. Of course I passed, missing only one question between the two exams.....
