I think it might be like 3 million gallons a second. Too bad they hate California and won't send us any.
You better live in a cave for 6 months before moving up there or they will know you are from Ca. by your tan.

Still, you have the Golden Gate, Painted Ladies, Street Cars and nature preserves are not that far away. Many people spend lots of money to go their on vacation. When the sky is plain, I tend to just show a sliver of it. Like you, I'm not a fan of blue-sky days. Even worse, is blue sky with haze. When I went to the Grand Canyon in 2011, it was no clouds and haze and all my pix pretty well sucked. Then I hit the jackpot and it snowed and clouds hung around. That was glorious. Dave

Well done iRide, using foreground elements to deal with crappy sky.

I've lived ~20 miles from SF my whole life and have been there more in the last year than ever before. (watching the Americas cup races) Then again, I don't get out much.

I wonder how well the skinny tires of the Morgans handle the steel grated bridge? Hopefully, better than on a motorcycle! Steel grated bridges are always an adventure on a bike, especially when it's raining!

One from the local airshow today. After this outing I have a lot more respect for you folks who get tack sharp images and prop blur. Not an easy feat.

Thanks. I got some good shots despite the heat (near 90) and the incredibly dumb things the airshow organizers did, like blocking the audience's view with a parked plane right before the P-51 act.
Here's another shot. The upper surfaces of the P-51 were painted flat, dark gray. Not sure why.

You have a nice lens. You want to talk about difficulty panning? I use the cheap version of your lens. 70-200 f/4 L haha
