Having been hiking in the rain more times than I care to remember, I'd completely agree that once soaked it's nice walking in the rain. Once on the side of Mt Tongariro in NZ we walked down in the rain, came to the hot springs, just sat in them fully clothed as we were already wet, then walked on in the rain.

Given I was a teenager with my best (male) friend I won't say the shower was the best, but drinks and dinner round the open fire that night was a fun family experience.

G63 don't count even though I couldn't ever imagine owning one, I have to admit it's pretty plush and cozy inside that you ALMOST forget you're in a toaster shaped vehicle with zero aerodynamics.

Contemplating X5M for shits and giggles for Chicago / NYC but we'll see.
