Love the old series too. Heck, I sometimes just watch to see the old cars, clothes, and trends of that time.

Yeah, we finished it Part 1 last night. Definitely looking forward to seeing how they are going to wrap up the story in the last 7 episodes.

I finished the first half of Ozark Season 4, it was a crazy ride and that Ruth seems to be driving the bus. After living in Atlanta for so long, it was great seeing Northside Tavern used as a location. A friend turned me on to it, it's a great dive bar and was minutes away from my place.

Wife and I started Yellowjackets and we are hooked! 4 episodes in with crazy suspense and tension, and very interesting stories. And great to see Christina Ricci again with her excellent and sociopathic performance.

This looks good. Might start watching it myself. Are you watching on Showtime?

Yep, we're using a friends login as other than this and Dexter New Blood, showtime doesn't offer much for us. The last time we probably subscribed to it was when Weeds and the original Dexter was on.

i'd give season 1 a B+. good start, slow middle, solid ending. i think both ricci and juliette lewis are awesome...although lewis seems be morphing into a female version of jack nicholson -- she's enough of a character just being herself that she hardly needs to act. looking forward to season 2.

I can't get into it. It's so scattered jumping back and forth. It should just be a movie, they keep delaying the inevitable melt down in the woods........ i dunno... meh.

We just finished it last night and can't wait for season 2. One thing that really impressed us was the way they were able to keep us in suspense and guessing for both timelines throughout the episodes. Curious to see what winter will bring for the Yellowjackets.

*SPOILERS ON DEXTER BELOW*

cmyx6go we're late, but we finally also finished Dexter. Overall ending was not nearly as bad as the original series. I think it was the right choice to kill off Dexter so that his story could be done for good, but honestly I wish they would have had it be Batista and Angela that get Dexter and not Harrison. I feel like they could have stretched the season maybe one or two more episodes to so something with that which would have been more interesting especially since Angela was such a smart and interesting character.

Funny you posted this today. I took a ride up to our property in PA today. I was looking around and thinking I was in that new Dexter town. Will post pics tomorrow, just not sure what thread.

I agree they could have went in different directions. You may want to put a spoiler alert notice at the top of your post.

I finished the first half a couple of days ago. The second half should be good.

For many years I’ve heard about The Wire and some have claimed it is the best show ever created.

School me, begin watching it or pass?

I would NOT go that far. It's really good if you like the whole "Drugs, Prison, Gangster" genre. But I can name 50 better shows easily.

Always heard the same and tried watching it a few times but never got through more than an episode or two.

Lately I've been watching a lot of shows on Netflix. I just finished watching The Witcher. I'm already looking forward to the sequel. If you like fantasy then you should definitely check it out.
