I can't see being able to say we are greatest country in the world unless I had lived in many of the others high up on the list. Like saying my city has the best "X" in the world, but never having tried the others, just what I have read.

Yep we have it too and the same problems, I found Canada had very similar politics to the UK. The trip I done from vancover to Oregon was amazing and I done it in the height of the summer so no snow just lots of hot weather.
