I wonder what happens when you guys have these laser jammer/intercepter turned on with an Infiniti that has laser adapter cruise control following you??? I'm willing to bet that his/her front end will kiss your rear end

funny i've been using the same escort passport 8500 x50 red display for several years without issue. i've found no reason to upgrade at all. i'm not into jammers because they make me feel like you're asking for trouble.

i feel like a cop would pull you over out of spite if they kept getting errors like that. i think you would have a bad time after that.

On another note: With respect to the cop getting pissed and pulling you over when you make his laser gun error out...the system has an "off" button you press when you have slowed your speed so the cop can get a real reading so you are less likely to be pulled over because you errored out his laser gun. |

V1 is good, yes, chatty, but I've had it for so long that I mostly don't hear anything but Ka bands. And the fact that it's bland and boring looking helps, I have it hardwired and don't need to hide it since it looks like some sort of dash cam sensor. Less thief attention. |

I currently use the 9500ci its a pretty a amazing unit, I have yet to get a ticket using it. To save on cost I installed it myself in a few hours. (I got an amazing deal on it through work to sweeten the deal but after using it, it is completely worth the price!) The passport max 2 is another unit I enjoy using in my other vehicle, and for the price you cant beat it, plus the V1 looks tacky in my opinion.

Have you tried Waze? Makes detectors obsolete in urban areas...
