Klipsch RSX-3 Loudspeakers with Monster Cables
Pioneer Dual 8" Subwoofer
PS3

I have a 40, 41 or 42" (any way of knowing?) Sony Bravia 1080p LCD and 5.1 Bose surround. And some kind of Yamaha receiver.

x2.

Too lazy to post this before and didn't want to be mean, but since Russ already went there, I have to agree. Remember:

No, highs, no lows, must be Bose...

Many other options for less $ with better sound, but if you need the size/look, your choice.

System:

Samsung 50" DLP
MarantzSR9200 THX
NHT Evolution T6 fronts (dual 12" subs in each base, with dedicated outboard amps)

NHT Evo M6 center

NHT Super one rears
Toshiba DVD

Room: Too small for all that stuff, but man, it looks and sounds great.

I won't win the "for less $ award" with my klipsch RF15 loudspeakers but everytime I turn it on, it is music to my ears... and I have an outdated Yamaha receiver.

edit: RF25 is what I have and not the RF15.

Yup, BOSE are not very good (except for the 301/901 range). The BOSE company however has a great marketing strategy that does not permit dealers to ever discount their product and advertises it as high-end audio which it clearly isn't. The small cubes that they sell are easily outperformed by most other quality offerings at the same price point.

The problem is that most uninformed 'new-to-quality-audio' customers see 'BOSE' and immediately think that they're buying high end.

They're not. And that's how BOSE survives. Look at the Lifestyle CD players they sell through magazine ads. Who would pay $400+ for basically a boom box. Slap B-O-S-E on it though and the sell like hot cakes.

If you're on a budget, get a set of HT speakers from Fluance. They are cheap and sound great for the money. For $600 you can get the 5 main spreakers and a nice little sub. It's not my SVS sub but I have heard this system and it sounds good considering it costs the same as my center speaker.

Wow...this is wierd. I have that same sectional sofa too. In a beige color.

Model number usually has the size embedded into it. For example, my TV is a Sony KDF46E2000, and it's 46".

I have some Mirage Nanosats...they're pretty good, non-directional...I think they're nice but then again I dont know much about sound...tvs on the other hand are a different story

BTW is that couch Microfiber? Man it pisses me off...after you sit in the same spot for a while (or have a really 300lb+ friend come over) it settles and looks weird

lol no, but thank you. i used to live with my bf but he bailed so now my dad pays half the rent. view is pretty nice, i get a glimpse of the water and the docks where the cruise ships come in. i'm planning on leaving when my lease is up, it's just too expensive and the west coast looks rather appealing at the moment. thinking san francisco.

I wish I was rich. You're one lucky ass kid considering all that shit adds up to a shitload of money.

I might be getting a LCD TV soon but a small one 32 or under.

Just do a search. But she's good. Put it this way if I didn't have a girlfriend currently I would be her roomate because the location is awesome and living with a good looking girl doesnt hurt.
