We have no one but the DOT to blame for this. Over regulation only leads to inefficiencies. Don't wish to make this a political statement being that we are on a car forum, I just wished we had a more open market place to import and trade cars worldwide. |

My vote is for:
WCY: VW Passat (Euro-spec) WLC: BMW i8 WPC: BMW M3/M4 WGC: BMW i8 WCD: M-Benz C Class WCF (Overall) : VW Passat ( Euro-spec) A few weeks ago I was traveling in labor matters in Europe and tried a new generation VW Passat. I can say that this car is more refined European specifications in its ride quality compared to the Passat that skiing is manufactured in the United States. And I own a 328i and I can say that the ride quality is firmer than the European Passat. But inside the details are very similar for the high quality of manufacture and by that vote for the VW Passat reason. The i8 I think you should be the winner of all these cars that appear on the list because it is an innovation and is a very complete product. Last edited by Pure; 03-05-2015 at 12:40 PM.. |

WTH could possibly have gotten the Active Tourer on this list other then a "Biggest Compromise" category. :

If it wins despite that fact, well it will be a major upset for these slick new six-figure AMG and Jaguar sports cars IMHO. |

There are some marketplace factors. While it may be changing, the premium hatch market was viewed as a no go in the US. We have seen the return of Fiat and Alfa Romeo, so keep wishing.

It looks like Consumer Reports recently top 10'd sports sedans and the 3 series was ranked at 10 while audi 4 moved way up to 3 or 4 (I can't find the list link only videos). Projected reliability was one factor amongst many.
This is a big shift, any thoughts on how they've come up with those results? I've always considered BMW better with reliability and audi playing catchup bigtime to the 3 series. |
