After talking to a few firemen I think that regardless of the situation the shortest distance will always be through the car windows.

The guy sounds like a real dbag from the article. Unfortunately too many dbags driving BMWs in the NYC area giving us all a bad name. Most of them have these silly M stripes in the grille and fake M badges on the back.
