I read the specs which were damn impressive.
The looks are a shame. The 350Z is a much better looking car. Disappointing

It might be faster but it won't be nearly as polished or smooth. I had a 350Z Roadster prior to my E93, and it was an awesome car. But there's a world of difference between the Z and 3-er.

Japanese cars are seriously pretty much junk. they are just a rattle box full of all plastic.
even if its faster, quicker around the track. i personally wouldn't care

I loved my 350Z Roadster, which was the car I owned before my 335i. By comparison, it was a bit more of a raw sportscar, with a lot fewer creature comforts. The engine was buzzy at high revs, and the lower gears were too short, but it was an incredible car for the money. I had it for a year before trading it for the 335i, and was a little sad to see it go. I love the 335i, and there's really no comparison to my "old" Z-car. I suppose the 370Z will grow on me, but I'm having a hard time getting past the front & rear lights. Other than that minor styling detail, however, I'm sure it's better than the Z it replaces.
