I can’t do it. Every decade or so it’s almost like my mind gets wiped and I think “Hey! Let’s go to Disney!”. As soon as I get to the line to get into the overpriced parking lot it all comes rushing back and I think to myself "WTF did I just do!!!???”

I mean all you do is wait in line. Like literally that is what you spend 90% of the time doing. Line to get into parking, line to get through security, line to get into park, line to get into ride, line to get food, line to GTFO….. then the ride is like 5min if you’re lucky and half of them haven’t been updated since the 70s!

However theres a bunch of Disney super fans who love nothing more. I don’t get it, but hey they employ a bunch of people so. The only way I would ever consider doing Disney again would be with one of those VIP package things where you don’t wait in any lines for anything, but I’m not spending that kind of $$.

I did that once. My company and a few other companies had Disneyland for the night and we didn't have any lines to wait in. That was great. Go on a ride (Matterhorn, for example) and as soon as it's over you go right back and ride it again, no waiting.

This thread feel super relatable. I'm always waiting for something, even years out.

- Waiting for my father to own up to being racist, change his ways and be accepting of my partner
- Waiting for the 6mo mark in June for my company ESPP to hit so I can see how that's going to work for me.
- Waiting for the 1yr mark at the company i'm with for my initial 25% of stock to vest
- Waiting on the 4yr mark there so ALL my stock will have vested
- Waiting to see how my house will appraise for or possibly get listed for next week
- Waiting to see how a potential move will go

Smaller things:
- Body shop estimate on the M4 real bumper re-paint
- THEN i'm sure i'll be waiting on the M4 for forever lol
- New tuner/tune to get here for the Cobra
- Having some time to get the Cobra dropped off to get aligned

- phone cases from aliexpress
- book i ordered for my dad
- the disposable i took on a weekend trip to be developed
- my boss to teach me to how to upload our budget into our software. i need to learn this because i will need to do it for other projects soon
- tax forms from robinhood and schwab. cant file my taxes until 2/18
- waiting to hear back about speeding school. paid the ticket yesterday but i wont hear back about the school for 4-5 more weeks

I am waiting for the pandemic to ease, my work as a freelance photographer has been decimated and have earned about 25% of my normal income. Funny, I was contacted seven days after relocating back in 12/19 about a rebranding project for a large regional group and the budget was approved. Then I waited while they had delays, then the area was hit by a major tornado and they had further delays. The following week, the pandemic started and I'm still waiting for clients to resume projects. At this point, I've waited more and been force-fed a healthy dose of patience. Now, I'm waiting for the Super Bowl and hopefully things will improve along with the weather.

Factories were closed in most places for a really really short time and we easily should have caught up by now... Housing suddenly nowhere to be found? you mean to tell me that during Covid suddenly everyone decided to buy a house? Car chips? I know the whole back story on supply... but what suddenly demand spiked 6x or what for other chip uses? It doesn't add up.

I am not a conspiracy theorist but there 100% is some sort of profeteering going on in the background... (also part of this is massive injection of money into the economy that drove demand up far above what it should have) - that part I do believe but nothing would add up to the extent we are seeing things now.

I’m waiting on parts for approx 45 vehicles at work which causes the rise in BP and the fact that I can’t take off
