Drivers of European cars are far too sophisticated to understand the appeal of infantile and reckless "driving."

Not sure you could even classify what those guys were doing as driving. Congrats you figured out how to plant you foot on the accelerator. Maybe next you'll learn how to use the steering wheel so you don't spin out and hit other cars.

I'll go for it. Drivers of American muscle cars are one evolutionary level above feces-throwing monkeys.

guys...I was being sarcastic, hard to believe some of you would think otherwise!..and i'm not calling american drivers stupid either. besides, until recently i was living/driving in the US. or do you have to be a U.S. citizen to be considered an american driver?

that's exactly what I my point was. and as for the american muscle car drivers, i haven't encountered ONE driver that didn't drive/behave like an absolute jackass. so sorry, i don't consider them to be very intelligent.

Wow, I never thought of myself as sophisticated! I'll have to tell my wife she married a classy guy. She'll be very surprised

I built a '68 GTO from the ground up and drove it for a bit before selling it. I loved the rawness of it, the smell of a carbeurated engine, the (literally) frame-twisting torque of the Weiand-powered 454.... The pride of building this thing from scrap pretty much on my own in my spare time....

I have to admit, anyone that came up to me at the strip to talk about it, or even approached me about it, in general, was a fucking hick and a half. Most of the time, they didn't care to talk to me after they figured out I put a bowtie engine in a Pontiac. Who gives a shit. The Pontiac 400's were shit and couldn't take FI for shit either. Anyway...on the other hand, a lot of fellow BMW owners are complete snob-douchebags, but I never really cared about what image I get from owning/driving a car. I just like to drive what I like to drive. I suppose I could be offended for people assuming I was "one evolutionary level above feces-throwing monkeys" but I'd have to admit, it's generally true about muscle-car drivers. Just not all of them.

And those new GTO's didn't deserve the moniker. I'm glad they did away with them.

I'll admit I'm an exception to the muscle-car stereotype. But I am an elitist douchebag, so I fit in quite well here. Actually, I would feel much more at home on the M3 forums, especially the M3 vs... subforum...

Haha...What do you expect from those low life mustang & GTO riders.
They are so ganster and that kind of crap is cool to them.
This is why I freak out when they try to give me mustang as a free upgrade when I rent a car. Mustangs / ETC american muscle cars = Ricers at the best.

I really wish a 18 wheeler crush them all including the crowds and chop their bodies in 2 pieaces. Then i'll go there and cheer.
