Assuming we can still get petrol cars, or even diesel, the question what brands given BMW current product direction ?
Cant see that target happening.

I think only Starmer and the Taliban were the only ones that bothered turning up to the COP 29 this time.

So the M40d is not a big selling engine world wide so they are trying to reduce overall group emissions plus all the diesel hate of late means its had to go from the X3 line.

Just spotted a vehicle transporter with a few G45’s approaching my local BMW dealer. All appeared to be dark grey or black.

I’m picking mine up on Tues 26th. It came in earlier this week, the first G45 the dealer has had delivered. They have checked with BMW UK and I can have it ahead of the official launch date of 30 Nov.

That’s great, which dealer?

Took my car for service (UK) and as I came out there it was ....a G45 , like alot on here I wasn't feeling the vibe for this car especially as currently having an LCI 40D but like people say , you really need to see this in person , totally changed my mind and now looking to order come Jan .....what more can I say , except the inner door handle arrangement really is sh1t in my opinion ...

I would agree with that. Once you see one, i also found the seats much better and i have the same LCI M40d as you do.

Its the extra large tank and range it gives you. Really they should have the larger tank on the petrol version imo. I will miss the range for sure. I use to have a M40i X3 and i get about 10mpg more with the 40d.

The G45 will get a 6-cylinder 40d version next year. But will be a little less powerfull with only 300PS compared to the G01 M40d 340PS
