I think an R8 would be the way to go, seems like everyone has a 911 Turbo now a days. R8 is rare and stylish.

The GT-R is an amazing large sports car and a great value but it doesn't make for a great road car. I've read the ride sucks even in the mildest setting. Also, it is ugly and the interior is busier than hell.
Thanks, Mike. |

Sweet looking Tornado in the background... I prefer the YF-23 or the F-22 but... Oh yeah the car looks pretty sweet too...

your basing the decision of the your next car on exclusivity. nothings wrong with that, but your making it your main determining factor.
no offense, but you sound like a real "cock" --> i dont mean it in the offensive way, i mean it in the terms that your mindless in the idea that you dont know what you really want so you have to look at what standards other people can rach and attain, and you want to surpass everyone just on that note. pretty gay if you ask me. by buying the car just to see how much it can boost your ego : Not cool

Ferrari 430 spyder. Hands down. Perhaps a Gallardo lp 560 if you want some AWD. Porsches, audis, even maseratis are all too common where most BMW owners live. If you want something that looks amazing and is fun to drive.. Get one of these! You want something that people are excited to see when you drive by. Depending where you live, an aston martin may do the trick too.

http://www.caranddriver.com/news/car...elled-car_news OP, BTW you will still get 1 upped easy with the GTR. Just realize once you are at the 70-100k range and someone decides to f with you, chances are they have deep pockets and their machine will probably burn you bad. |

No, get a Porsche Carrera 997 4 cabriolet or Porsche 997 turbo.
But if you're really in a good mood get a GT3. hah.

Why are people talking about Veyrons and Lamborginis in here? The OP is obviously looking at cars around $80k, and for that budget, the GTR is absolutely the best you can get. You drive one on the road, and no one can even race you even if they wanted to.
The R8 looks great but like any other Audi, it's not as fast as it looks. Can it even keep up with an M3? 0-60 is a disappointing 4.8s. |
