I had this before. Don't bother using an Anti-virus software, it'll only drive you up a wall waiting for the scans to finish just to find nothing.
Go to Start > Search > System Restore. Select a date and time you can remember BEFORE you found this software on your computer (ex, if you didn't have this 2 days ago, restore it to 2 days prior). What this does is uninstalls all the programs that have been installed in the last 2 days (or till whichever system restore point you used). It KEEPS all your files, so if you wrote any documents, powerpoints, downloaded files, etc etc, you'll still have them. Pretty fool-proof, give it a try and let us know.

Take the drive out, slave it into another computer, and delete everything new in your temp, IE temp, and windri/system32. I always sort by date and then delete all the .dll files that were added in the last couple of days.
Then when you reboot run tdsskiller, which you might want to download and copy to the disk when you have it slaved to the other machine. |

I tried everything I could think of to get rid of this virus on wife's computer. It's extremely resilient. I could not solve it working out of safe mode. System restore will not work. I had to reformat.
The first time I completely reformatted it somehow came back. It's been virus free after the second fix though.

Warning: This is bad advice, as it does not completely remove the virus.

^More and more of these are writing themselves into the device drivers, so no amount of system restore will get rid of them. Hence my recommendation for the TDSSKiller.exe
