look at those shopping cart wheels attached to the bottom of the chassis on the merc.

but it has a cool design, i say the more the merrier, if they FINALLY start making these futuristic looking cars (because I think they can really attract too much interest to the eco theme with other methods than design) - then I'm all for it!

It's probably no even a tyre. Looks like some metallic rolling gizmo that probably saps power from the road. when the entire roadway system are made of carbon nanotubes and conducts electricity.

Personally... I would have liked MB to come up with someone a little closer to reality. But then again, it is a "design study" such a long way to go though!

agreed. key words are "design study". no engine, drivetrain, wheels, interior, etc. not a concept car either. would be interesting to see if they further this study into an actual concept.
