Beautiful car
Who would not love a Porsche. Its really too bad the great 911 is on top of it -- the Cayman actually has the engine in the right spot. Def need on rims on that. |

So many people move form 335 - Cayman S.
All I gotta say is: love the fact that you're not straight line power hungry and do like the fact that you appreciate fine handling! Cayman S = best value sports car in the world. |

Congrats on the Porsche, the only other car I would own right behind an Aston Martin (but thats WAAAAAY out of the question). But sorry, the Cayman is hideous
![]() Sorry I'm really not trying to be a jerk, just don't care for the boxster or the cockster errrr I mean cayman!!! Liked your 335 better!! ![]()

Your post was so bad that I thought it was written in jest at first.... That's ok that you think it's hideous and all, but the rest of it is just rubbish. Written like someone that's never actually driven a Cayman, or a Porsche of any kind for that matter.... |

Clarkson is a bit too opinionated, do whatever...
A lot of other opinions say a Cayman S almost relegates a base 911 unnecessary for Porsche to make or sell. All I would say is a Cayman is not the most reliable P-car, so hope you have better luck than with your 335. |

Complete Opposite Trade
I did the exact opposite trade. I had an 06 Cayman S and immediately found out I was having a baby so got a e90. I loved the way the Cayman handled but I also love the e90 power w/ a tune. I'm not torn though, I loved/love both cars.
You'll love the Cayman, but don't get your hopes up on reliability. Mine had its share of issues the 1 year I had it. It was little things but very annoying to keep going to the dealer. And the local Porsche dealership only offered rental cars as loaners through Enterprise. I actually got into an argument once because the rental car came back with a small door ding which I don't really know if it was there or not. And they wanted to charge it my insurance company. But the BMW dealership experience is top notch with BMW dealership loaners. Sorry for the rant. You'll love the Cayman ride and handling, but I don't think you'll appreciate the communications interface as much as the BMW. |

That comment just baffles my mind. Similar to what one would think if they heard someone say "F*** Air!"....

Your comment was a compilation of ignorance. You obviously have never driven a Cayman and I'm almost positive not a 911 either.
And the regard to the 911 in every sentence of your comment as the supreme and only worthy Porsche vehicle renders only one comment: F*** the 911. |
