www.rctech.net is a great place for info on the 10th scalers and 8th scale stuff.

Right now the popular battery is a LIPO which with up to 6000 mah of capacity and a brushless system will give you 30 minutes of runtime.

A 4600 mah NIMH (subc cells) of 7.2v will give 15 to 20.

Anyone into rc airplane or helicopters? I used to have large gas powered airplane. It was a Hanger 9 aerobatic one. Crashed it when I was doing a loop. Receiver cut out for a second or something and I couldn't pull up in time. Smack! right into the grass. I felt embarrassed because I had a group of onlookers when I crashed it. Also have a micro helicopter with counter rotating blades. Much easier to fly then the single rotating helicopters.

I think my room mate is selling his RC car for pretty cheap. He lives in San Dimas around the block from where we chilled that time.

Think its HPI with all those glow plugs and bodies and shit.

it's really not hard to drift at all...as long as you have AWD with the right tires or pvc.

I was in to cars for a while, but then i got a few planes and then the real fun began.

http://www.combatwings.com/catalog/i...inixeradar.asf These things are nearly indestructible! There isn't much in the RC world that sounds like a prop spinning at 48000 RPM or your plane screaming past you at over 100mph coming out of a dive!
