Well this thread went from zero to lame in record time. I love how the topic went from the insanity of the newest GT-R's performance to which BMW is the ugliest. Way to go guys

The guy slinging poo has two SUV's, if you really take his opinion seriously I'd be worried.

![]() The GT R is a remarkable car that does things that it shouldn't be capable of. It's obvious Nissan left plenty in the motor in the early years and is tapping into what the aftermarket tuners have been working on since it came out. The fanbois should go for a run on the track in one....it is amazing how it mows down supercars so easily at a fraction of the price. ![]() |

I've paid respect to the GT-R, something that it appears everyone has in this thread. The original was amazing, and each year it gets quicker, handling gets better and it makes anything in it's price range look a little silly if numbers are the only concern. I won't insult your fine Lexus, you clearly have a touch of butthurt about it. I may happen to own two BMW's at the moment but have owned many other brands and don't have any particular affiliation, so fan boi might be a bit misplaced, but keep running with your preconceptions. |

In 2009, I thought the GTR was a huge bargain starting at $69K. But lately with all these power ups and suspension tweaks, the 2013MY will probably cost $100k. Still a bargain but $100k is a lot of money.

I personally think SOME people still can't get pass the fact that it's a Nissan, it cost under $100k and it's whooping a majority of supercars on the straights and the curves
If this were a "BMW GTR", I bet SOME people would be quiet. |

I think I used to be in denial and didn't want to believe the hype, but damn if this thing isn't growing on me.
