It is all about power / weight / gearing.... Ferrari is not special... Look at the list posted by Zeroday (thank you BTW), the 335i beats many of them. Like I wrote above, other than a F430 / 599 GTB, a procede 335i stands a pretty good chance.

like tbone said, other than 430/599, the procede 335i can compete, although i think the 550/575 will easily win this battle (especially in the higher speeds). note this is straight line only...on a track the ferrari's have an advantage even with the higher weights in some models. but anyway, it's a ferrari........

think about this. a a stock 335i with the right driver could probably beat a 308. they arent that fast. we pulled up to won in my dads aston martin vantage and owned him in a little over half throttle.

Just because it is a "Ferrari" doesnt mean that it is automatically faster than another car. It depends on the model. A 335 (especially w/ procede) will beat many ferrari's.
I hate the "you could never beat a ferrari" posts. Don't get caught up in the...prestige thing! |

a lot of you don't know much about ferrari's do you?
there were a few models from the 80's (the mangum PI one for example, 308 I think that model number was) that took about 9 seconds 0-60 many ferrari's are very fast, some ferarri's are very slow |

The Modena's 0-60 is at 4.2s and runs the quarter-mile at 12.8. Beating a modern Ferrari isn't all that difficult.

Compared to cars from the same era, I don't think there have ever been any 'very slow' Ferraris. Lots of cars that were supercars 25 years ago have performance stats that don't seem particularly impressive compared to the average family sedan today. Anyway, the whole 'kill' thing on public roads is completely retarded.
