'98 M3 - 96K miles, but averaged out that's just over 5600 miles per year for it's age. One owner, no rust, meticulously maintained, looks like it's always been garaged, etc. Get a loan and get it now! Lol. Good luck finding a new ride.

Not sure if you could get any of these years for $10k. I just got paid out on my 04 g35 coupe 12k from insurance.

Just remember to consider maintenance cost. You can get Boxsters in the $10k price range, but parts aren't cheap. The wife has a Boxster.
Need to know if the 'I-want-to-use-it-to-pick-up-girls' factor plays into your equation?

I'm guessing you haven't driven both. Following the sale of my first S2000 I bought a Boxster S and couldn't have been more disappointed. The S2000 performed as well or better and had pretty much the best shifting tranny on the planet. This is a no brainer...S2000 all day long.

(I've had all of these cars, and they're VERY fun.)
My pics- Boxster, e36 m3, 03-05 350z(under 10k), or Mazda rx8 (sh*tty reliability). Try to stick to these guidelines- to maximize the "fun" factor your car should have- a manual transmission, Limited slip dif., RWD, Lightweight. And a good hp to weight ratio.

If youre willing to make the trip cars down south are very cheap, maybe an 07 g35 would be kind of hard with a clean title but im sure you wont have a probe finding an 04-06 g35 or 350 for under 10k. I got my 350 for 9k with 88k miles

You want a reliable $10k sports car?
Doesn't exist. If you're 18-21 buy yourself a honda, save up your money, get a job and work. Go to school, graduate then find a decent job after the job, get yourself somewhere to live, budget yourself and then purchase an M3. |

I'm personally waiting for a nice and well kept with relatively low mileage MKIV Supra (6MT / Red in color) that hasn't been molested for about $10k (NA). I'd pay up to $15k for a TT one.
I'd also be willing to pay $4k-$5k for a clean titled shell. |

Man good luck! Every Supra TT I found with low miles are still well in the 40 - 50k range where I live. Even ones with over 100k mi are still over 20k.
