Yes, actual cane sugar and not that high fructose corn syrup crap.

Every time that someone mentions Coke made/bottled in Mexico, the first thing that I think of is Montezuma's revenge.....
But my wife was born in Monty's land, so immune

Montezuma’s revenge happens to gringos who don’t eat salsa. The hotter the better.

I never experienced that Montezuma's revenge. Thank God.

When I hear Montezuma's revenge I think of the early 80s video game. Was lots of fun (because you know you're old when...).

I did just once. We were in Mexico for a geology trip and we were heading to Taxco to spend the weekend. On the way there we stopped at a restaurant and I had a chicken sandwich that had a piece of lettuce on it. That was a mistake. I spent the weekend in the hotel room, mostly in the bathroom.

Is that like bootleg Pitfall or is Pitfall like a reboot of Montezuma's?

My dad was an engineer for Philco, which at the time was owned by Ford. One of his perks was a cheap lease of a new car each year. One summer we went to Washington DC, Williamsburg VA, and on to the Outer Banks in a full-size 4-door 1964(? I think) Mercury, dark green with lighter green interior, no AC, and -- thankfully -- that back window.

I still have a scar between ribs from Monty. He got internal and attached to my liver. They inserted a catheter between ribs, surrounded him, and sucked him out over two days in hospital

Not from drinking, not from eating shrimp at a roadside stand, not from visiting a tequila plant. I went water skiing in a "river" surrounded by cows. Either the water up my nose, or up my bottom

They used two old-fashioned milk jars to collect all the gunk. WHY you use clear glass for a bloody puss mess???

Sitting on the backseat (seatbelts do not exist) of the family car driving on some backroad on a nice Summer day and the car radio news of the state radio (100% ad-free) announcing "The popular American rock 'n roll singer Elvis Presley was found dead" and your father (behind the wheel) saying "What? No way!".

Watching the reel-to-reel tape recorder spool very fast (parents warning: "Do NOT touch !"), whizzing sound, and waiting for the rather violent 'end of tape' fly-off with subsequent flapping sound.
