I'm with you. My apologies if I came across as ripping on you, not my intent. I have a tendency to go off the deep end on occasion. This show just pisses me off. For those that enjoy it, I say keep watching it and do what makes you happy. For me, I feel that my time is worth a dollar amount; if it's beneficial or entertaining it's worth my time. If I were able to bill hours lost, the creators of this show would owe me a considerable amount of money.

Brockmire

Hank Aziria from Simpsons fame among others. Well written, damn I laughed out loud several times....mind you I'm a bit damaged.

Best line out of the first episode: "I thought I hit rock bottom in Thailand when a lady boy snorted crank of my Johnson while a sunburnt German tourist sitting on the crapper watched"...

Also, the X6M and M3 ZCP make appearances.

It's from Kids in the Hall, a Canadian series that ran in the USA on HBO and CBS about 20 years ago. I'm surprised it's not available on demand.

Yes, same show. BBC commissioned the show and Netflix entered into a distribution deal to air it.

No worries at all. No harm taken or assumed. The show is a polarizing entity. I agree with the time spent/wasted. In the evenings I tend to look for mindless escapism in televised content. I'll watch shark tank, some on demand movie, anything to take me away from the day. So I consider it less of a loss and more of a distraction. Thus with shitty shows or episodes I walk away with a "well that sucked" view vs lost time - since my time was really being wasted anyway...like now I'm watching outrageous acts of science It's an awful show, but while I'm working through year end evals for my team it's a good background distraction.

I'm very familiar with KITH I had just never seen this skit of theirs before. There are some days I still hum "These are the Daves I Know."

Completely agree with you on Outrageous Acts of Science. That show could be a decent watch if it wasn't for the commentators. Some of the clips shown are actually pretty cool. My go to background distraction is usually The First 48 or Forensic Files.

Once in a while I like to watch a series that makes me laugh.

Last season of The Guest Book made me laugh out loud, and the new season is just as good and f'd up.

Almost finished with the last season of "House of Cards." Not sure if I'd like it without Spacey, but it's really good. Doug Stamper is the best character on the show. I want the Shepherd's to die!

We have watched the first 5 episodes of season 6. It's kind of tough to put my finger on what's wrong with it, Spacey missing yes, but Clarie seems off the rails a bit...it's ok but I think you can stick a fork in it because it's done.....and yes Stamper is the best character.
