Huge surge in the market after hours after a rough day. Hopefully it holds up during early morning trading. I was down 10% on my spread this afternoon and have already pulled back to even.

Crazy action!
I never feel comfortable doing a trade 'after hours'. I guess you set your limits?

I set some trail stops but the ones I am in need more growth before I sell. They are all mostly long haulers unless they get to big of a gain and I can't stomach not selling.

Im sitting on a few. Let's see how the week ends.

If similiar to today....I am up even though most traded sideways.

If things start to "pump" , I'm really up and taking my gains.

I think the gravity of the situation has been priced in already. Q2 will be a throwaway and everyone knows it. Every piece of data in the next six months will be a statistical anomaly.

If you think everything will be back to normal in 6 months, I have a bridge to sell you.

Agreed. Don’t care what anyone says, I never buy a stock when it’s on its way up.

lol

Yes, buying a stock that's recently hit a new high, is overbought, or both is obviously not the best time to make that trade.

If your overall idea is to trade bullish though and you're standing around with your arms folded "when it's on it's way up" (you know, during times of positive price momentum), then you likely need to rethink your game plan.

So you wouldn’t have bought NVDA at $60?

It’s value dependent. If it’s already at a high and historical price was $15, I wouldn’t buy. I don’t know how to explain it. It’s just something I don’t prefer doing. Probably wrong but that’s me.

I think it's good in the long run. I see it going up and down in the short. It will be a while before people start buying planes again.

Yea I agree, I don't know what I'm doing tbh I just know I have too much uninvested cash sitting around (recently sold a house) and need to put it somewhere.

Not feeling too confident about anything in the market right now. Wishing I would have kept the house at this point, at least it was cash flowing.
