Glad I have a C7 instead, I’m tired of the Lexus look they dove head first into.

Its been a hell of a September down here.. the #LCUL8TR was supposed to debut at the Miami Auto Show. That was postponed due to hurricane Irma then canceled.
Debuted it at the big Caffeine & Octane meet in Atlanta....The color is 197M "Matte Azure Metallic" by Orafol Wraps. The car is on first set of RS-R Coilovers in the world. They are assembled in Japan in Osaka, I've visited a couple of times. The wrap work was done by Miller Decals in Atlanta...Butler Tire helped me with sourcing the 255/35/22 and 305/30/22 tires and hosted the car Sunday. This is just stage 1 there is a lot more planned. It is otw to SEMA and will have more mods then and more after.... Just a quick iPhone photo..professional photo shoot and video coming... oh wheels are 22x9 and 22x11 Vossen Forged CG-205 in Miami White |

I finally saw one of these in person in the parking garage at PEC Atlanta. Caught the owner (a Porsche NA employee, if that tells you anything) getting out, and I shamelessly asked if I could sit in it. The interior is just stunning. Belt line's a little high, but otherwise it's superb. Reminded me of a cross between a Lambo Diablo and an early 1990s Honda Prelude, with a healthy dose of Aston Martin DBx DNA thrown in to up-level the look and feel.
Outside? It's WAY more impressive than in photos. It comes off a lot cleaner than it looks, and the car's got immense presence. Think about this: it upstaged pretty much all of the P-Car goodness that was parked around it.

Of course it upstaged a 53 year old design. 911s aren't exactly earth shattering.
They're a nice, clean design from a company that seems to hate nice, clean designs. Reminds me of the initial SC300/400. A glimmer of hope from a really boring company. |
